You don't even need to look at their code. Actually, everything you find in those scripts, can be Googled and you'll find the answer on how to do the exact same thing. Even for those who are technical, it implies a lot of time to check and understand. Those scripts are a black box for anyone who does not know programming or scripting. From what I see nobody tries to create something easy to use for the average user. And another thing that's normal is analyzing your competition. So instead of assuming everything I actually want to create something that offers value for nontechnical users as well. This is called interviewing your potential users. So instead of putting hundreds of tweaks that nobody knows what they do, I prefer to keep those that are actually used and important for the most users, not for the 0.1% savage power users. Uninstall as many windows apps that come preinstalled as I can (3D printer, Paint 3D, Sticky notes, One Drive, Skype, Xbox Live, Snip and sketch, Feedback hub etc) Try to use Microsoft store for as many apps I can(Like Firefox, Discord, OBS, Telegram, Spotify etc.) because Microsoft store is finally somewhat usable and I can update my apps all at once without haunting through individual app updaters. Turn of Xbox related stuff cz I don't use Xbox appĭisable all telemetry I can through the settings app (Not deep inside registry) This eliminates a lot of useless questions and reboots during the setup process and doesn't provide ads right away.Īfter setting up I disable Delivery Optimization as it uploads parts of Windows Update in the background to other PC's While clean installing I don't connect to the internet until I setup some settings.
